This is a beautifully told, well-written, gripping fantasy about love, family, found family, good vs. evil, and self-sacrifice. I enjoyed the writing style, pacing, and uniqueness of the story. The author built fascinating worlds and the characters were well developed and relatable. I especially loved Caitlin and Talia—two captivating, skillful, and powerful female characters. If you enjoy young adult fantasy with excellent world building, an exciting storyline, and strong, passionate female characters this book is for you.
